So I realized something today. Something I don't think many people have really realized yet and may not ever realize. So I will 'realize' it for you guys. What I am 'realizing' for you guys is that the terms 'gothic' and 'emo' aren't really applied to the people they seem to be applied to. Incorrect definitions seem to be given, which I have been pondering about. I have found the answer to all of this incorrect and wrongly-applied shit.
First, I will give you definitions of the words 'gothic' and 'emo'.
Gothic: noting or pertaining to a style of architecture, originating in France in the middle of the 12th century and existing in the western half of Europe through the middle of the 16th century, characterized by the use of the pointed arch and the ribbed vault, by the use of fine woodwork and stonework, by a progressive lightening of structure, and by the use of such features as flying buttresses, ornamental gables, crockets, and foils.
That, people, is the correct definition for it. People who dress in all black and do drugs should not be referred to as 'gothic'.
Emo: a type of music combining traditional hard rock with personal and emotional lyrics
That's the closest definition I found to anything resembling "emo" sorts of things. 'Emo' people are basically like 'gothic' people except they are weak little pussies who can't handle life. Wow, guys. It's tough for everybody. Who says life is fair? Nobody. Not even God, himself. So deal with it like the rest of us and stop pretending like you are better than everybody else because you really aren't.
So there you have it.

you were happy being someone
Let's go far far far from home
I'll be glad to be with someone.
